We are a group of friendly leisure sailors who enjoy social sailing — both cruising and amateur racing — visiting new areas and events as well as the traditional favourites. We aim to offer a variety of destinations, number of days on board and actively support training and improvement of your sailing skills.
Something for everyone regardless of ability.

Important Notice: The 2020 AGM will now be held on Saturday 28th March, as part of the Early Season Shake Down sailing event. The exact venue is TBC but will be at a mainland coastal location by, or very near to, the Solent. All members are welcome — encouraged even! — to attend.
As usual, there will be pre-AGM drinks at 6.30pm, with the AGM starting at 7pm followed by dinner at 8pm. If you would like to attend either the AGM and/or the dinner, or the entire weekend, please get in touch asap so we can make arrangements for the final venue location.
The 2020 programme has now been finalised, so now is the time to get your bookings in! The club offers a wide and varied programme, with events suitable for everyone’s tastes. It was clear from the results of the draft programme review conducted earlier in January that nearly all events had reasonable interest, and there were no 'clear winners' to drop the number of events substantially.
As always, this website is the best place for you to view the programme, plus berth availability is also updated automatically when I manage your bookings. Just use the Programme link on the menu bar, or click here.
As with last year, fuller event descriptions are available for all events in the programme listing: just click or tap on an event's name to see it's description. These descriptions are also shown in the members' only Bookings Report.
The RNLI auction has now closed. There were quite a few bids coming in during the last 24 hours of the auction. The last hour, however, was rather intense with bidding ‘wars’ going on between people in the Kick Start Rally dining room and via email!
The final amount raised is brilliant — £1,700 — with 100% going to the RNLI. Many thanks to all those who participated, and to our generous sponsors for donating the lots.
The final bids for the items can be found here.
The club sends out a newsletter with updates on the events programme and other news and offers. It's roughly monthly but occasionally more frequently when there's important or urgent information and news, or last-minute offers.
If you're not already subscribed to our newsletter, you can now sign-up on the Contacts page. The newsletter is open to all, you don't have to be a club member in order to receive the newsletter. Should you want to unsubscribe for any reason, just use the link at the bottom of the newsletter email.
As always, we're keen to attract new members. A great way to help with this is through advertising the club in your place of work or local sports or sailing club.
Feel free to print the posters yourself (available for download from the website), or drop Simon Jackson an email and he'll send some in the post.
Please write your own name and contact details on the poster, so readers can talk to someone near to them first.
